Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and manage all instrumentation engineering activities within EPC project scope
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications

• Prepare, review, and finalize detailed engineering deliverables, including:

• P&IDs, Instrument Index, I/O Lists
• Instrument specification data sheets and Material Requisitions (MR)
• Hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, cable schedules, JB and instrument layouts
• Control narratives, Cause & Effect diagrams, and safety shutdown logic
• Coordinate with vendors for Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), document reviews, and participation in FAT & SAT
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases, including loop checking, troubleshooting, and start-up assistance
• Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, standards, and safety practices
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil disciplines for integrated system design
• Maintain engineering trackers, project documentation, and as-built drawings

Candidate Profile

• Qualification:

  Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics Engineering

• Experience:

  Relevant experience in

  Oil & Gas / Pipeline / EPC projects

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation engineering standards and practices
• Experience in construction and commissioning support is essential
• Good coordination and communication skills
