You should be capable of sizing control valves and calculating cable schedules. It is essential to have an understanding of cable tray layout design, as well as LIE and LIR. Your responsibilities will include technical specifications of instruments, cables, junction boxes, cable schedule and interconnection, and instrumentation field engineering. You should also be adept at schedule preparation, instrument schedule preparation, and field interconnection using tools like Excel and SmartPlant Instrumentation. You must have the ability to prepare technical specifications for C&I equipment and systems, and review vendor documents post-order to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards. Proficiency in engineering software such as SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI), SmartPlant 3D (SP3D), SmartPlant Review (SPR), and Visio will be an added advantage. Additionally, you should possess the ability to design and develop control logic for various processes and systems.,
