Job Description

As an Instrument Supervisor - Maintenance in an offshore (FLNG-FPSO) environment, your primary responsibility is to ensure the integrity, functionality, and efficiency of field instrument equipment and Control & Safety Systems. Your ultimate goal is to maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient execution of maintenance activities while adhering to all required rules, regulations, procedures, and practices. You will lead instrument maintenance activities at the site to achieve these objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Reviewing EPCIC deliverables related to Production Operations and Maintenance during the EPCIC/Project Phase. - Representing Production Operations and Maintenance during FATs and SATs as requested. - Reviewing and commenting on pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up contractor procedures. - Supporting a smooth transition from the commissioning phase to the operational phase as part of the Integrated Commissioning Team/Pre-operation Team. - Participating in any training sessions organized at the FLNG construction yard as OJT training. - Promoting a positive safety culture within your team during the OPERATIONS Phase. - Maintaining, inspecting, testing, and ensuring the operating conditions of all fixed ICSS and Package. - Performing ICSS Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) tasks as scheduled in CMMS. - Assisting operations and maintenance crews with repairs and equipment replacement. - Installing, maintaining, testing, and inspecting all types of rotating equipment, instrumentation, and package equipment. - Performing calibration and certification for ICSS to comply with mandatory regulations. - Performing instrument/PCS/PSD/ESD isolations, bypass, or override of specific systems, equipment, or sections of systems in preparation for maintenance activities. - Troubleshooting problems, identifying functional failures, determining required maintenance activities, and initiating work orders in SAP. - Leading and performing all aspects of first-line maintenance of ICSS systems. - Maintaining operations logbooks and records as required. - Ensuring adequate handover notes related to all operations and maintenance aspects at the end of the rotation shift. - Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes to maintain and improve the reliability and availability of ICSS. - Optimizing spares and materials consumption and inventory to achieve cost-saving goals. - Requisitioning materials using SAP. - Coordinating established work priorities. - Supervising and mentoring national and local staff to effectively transfer knowledge, provide direction, and mentor less experienced employees. - Performing all duties in a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly manner. - Assisting in and performing turnaround activities by ensuring the safe shutdown of the facility, preparing processes and equipment for maintenance/inspection activities, carrying out tests mandated by the turnaround plan, and safely restarting the facility after turnaround completion. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of instrument equipment and Control & Safety Systems in an offshore environment, contributing to the overall safety, reliability, and efficiency of the facility.,
