Job Description

Description

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Fitter to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of various instrumentation and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation fitting, with the ability to read technical drawings and perform calibrations.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to assemble, install, and maintain various types of instrumentation and control systems.
Calibrate and test instruments to ensure they meet specifications and operate correctly.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments and equipment to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including calibrations, repairs, and installations.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize instrument performance and reliability.
Adhere to safety standards and protocols while performing installation and maintenance tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in instrumentation fitting or a related field.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Strong understanding of various types of instrumentation including pressure, temperature, and flow measurement devices.
Experience with calibration and testing of instruments using standard procedures and equipment.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in instrumentation work.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical systems effectively.
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineers and other technical staff.
