Instrument Engineer

As an Instrumentation Engineer at PMECH, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and designers to complete work as per schedule and quality. Your role will involve providing technical direction and guidance to the team, as well as leading multiple engineering projects in oil, gas, power, fertilizer, and green energy sectors. You will be involved in the design and engineering of Control and safety systems such as DCS, PLC, SCADA, ESD, and HIPPS, along with F&G, HVAC, and Telecommunication systems. Additionally, you will participate in activities like control narrative & logic diagram preparation, LOPA & SIL assessment, SRS preparation, SIL verification, SIL validation, and cyber security SL level and risk mitigation. Your responsibilities will also include ICSS, ESD, DCS, PLC, and Telecom control network design, field instrumentation design and engineering, 3D model review, quality assurance in design and engineering work, interdisciplinary interface and coordination for IDC, vendor document review, TBE, recommendation, and team training. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of engineers and designers to complete work as per schedule and quality. - Provide technical direction and guidance to the team. - Lead multiple engineering projects in various sectors. - Design and engineering of Control and safety systems. - Design & engineering of F&G, HVAC, and Telecommunication systems. - Participate in LOPA & SIL assessment, SRS preparation, SIL verification, and SIL validation. - Ensure cyber security SL level and risk mitigation. - Design and review of ICSS, ESD, DCS, PLC, and Telecom control network. - Field instrumentation design and engineering. - Review 3D models and report closure. - Ensure quality in all design and engineering work. - Coordinate interdisciplinary interfaces and vendor document review. - Identify training requirements and train the team. Qualifications Required: - B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation. - 10+ years of experience. - Field instrument sizing and software usages. - I&C Design document review & development. - Knowledge of functional safety (SIL, SRS, CHAZOP, SIL verification) & FSE certificate desirable. - Expertise in control & safety system design & engineering, analyser & shelter design & engineering, telecommunication design, and 3D model design review.
