Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and automation frameworks across projects
• Manage and mentor a team of manual and automation QA engineers
• Set goals, review performance, and support the growth of QA team members
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines
• Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java
• Lead API testing efforts using tools like Postman, RestAssured, etc.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to align on quality goals
• Oversee defect lifecycle management, triaging, and resolution
• Track key QA metrics and communicate quality status to stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test coverage, process, and efficiency
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Expertise in REST API testing with tools like Postman, TestNG, RestAssured
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and automation strategies
• Proven experience leading QA teams, mentoring engineers, and assigning tasks
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and sprint-based delivery models
• Hands-on with JIRA, Git, CI/CD tools (e.g, Jenkins)
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage timelines, people, and quality
• Effective communication for cross-functional collaboration and reporting
  

Preferred

• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and environments
• Knowledge of security testing and vulnerability identificationss
• Good to have : Hands-on experience or knowledge of Cypress
• ISTQB or equivalent certifications are a plus
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors/ Masters in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience
