Inspection Manager

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for monitoring the Static equipment (Tank, Vessel) & Pipeline and Co-ordinating with maintenance department to improve reliability. The responsibilities and tasks shall be typically involved the following:

• Planning and execution of condition monitoring and scheduled inspections for Static Equipment & Pipelines.
• Ensuring Statutory compliances to applicable rules for Factory's Act, IBR, PESO related to Static Equipment & Pipelines.
• Reliability Improvement to avoid surprise failures & RCA
• Developing and implementing SOP's and other maintenance procedures
• Compliance to equipment maintenance/ inspection schedule and review as required.
• Tracking and report submission.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Metallurgical Engineering from a instute of repute with atleast 6 years post qualification experience.
• Min 60% in class X onwards.
• Experience in Static Instection in Process industry (Petrochemical/ Chemical/ Fertilizer).
• ASNT NDT Level II in Visual, UT, RT, MPT
• Experience of Trouble shooting and Failure cause analysis in industry.
• Knowledge of various material types ( CS, SS, Alloys); grain structure and Corrosion
• Knowledge of WPS, P & ID, Isometric.
• Knowledge of API 570, API 510, API 653, OISD 130
• CSWIP certified will be an added advantage
