You will be working as an Assistant Manager in the DP Medical Device unit at Biocon, a global biopharmaceutical company committed to revolutionizing healthcare with innovative solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise packing and assembling operations, ensuring strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP) while upholding exceptional quality standards throughout the entire process. Your duties will entail receiving Batch Production Record (BPR) and Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) from the Issuance team, followed by a meticulous cross-verification of batch details. You will be responsible for dispensing and verifying Special Packaging Material (SPM) in alignment with the Indent sheet as specified in the BMR, as well as transferring the dispensed SPM to the day storage area. Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting comprehensive cleaning of equipment and work areas, facilitating the seamless transfer of dispensed SPM and pen components to the assembly and packing area, and relocating assembled pens from the cold room to the packing section. Your role will also involve executing pre and post-batch activities for both assembly and packing, operating assembly and packing machinery according to SOP guidelines, and carrying out repacking procedures as outlined in the SOP. Furthermore, you will be accountable for conducting reconciliation processes, overseeing the destruction of rejected material/components in accordance with SOP, updating records related to the cold room, and verifying daily reports for cold rooms as per SOP requirements. As part of your responsibilities, you will be in charge of ensuring the cleanliness of the area and equipment in the VI booths during FFTC Inspection activities, progressing to inspection tasks for FFTC batches post-assembly. You will play a crucial role in performing line clearance activities, transferring assembled pens to the inspection area, verifying light intensity for inspection tables, reconciling assembly and packing processes, and managing the destruction of defective prefilled pens. Lastly, you will be responsible for validating the status boards of equipment to monitor their Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Calibration status effectively.
