The primary focus of GCIO COO is to ensure the seamless operational aspects of the GCIO business to maintain high standards and support HSBC's global business structure. As a key enabler for HSBC's ambition to be the most trusted bank globally, GCIO COO emphasizes continuous improvement and simplification to deliver high-quality services with a customer-centric approach. Your responsibilities as a Workforce Insourcing Lead will involve defining and managing the multi-year global insourcing plan for GCIO. This includes transitioning the organization's composition to have a higher percentage of permanent employees by 2028. You will work closely with HR and GCIO Leadership to develop hiring and insourcing strategies aligned with the organization's goals and workforce requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and overseeing the implementation of a multi-year insourcing plan - Collaborating with HR and Talent Acquisition teams for streamlined hiring processes - Driving upskilling initiatives for hiring managers - Owning the project plan, milestones, and governance framework for the insourcing plan - Planning and executing attraction campaigns for bulk hiring events - Identifying and mitigating operational and delivery risks related to workforce and skills Requirements for Success: - Experience in enterprise-scale program delivery - Proficiency in workforce hiring and insourcing strategies across multiple regions - Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities - Analytical skills to evaluate recruitment data and metrics - Knowledge of employment laws and regulations for compliance - Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a dynamic recruitment environment By joining HSBC, you will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of GCIO and supporting the organization's growth and success.
