Injection Molding Operator

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Injection Moulding Operator in Pune. As an Injection Moulding Operator, your primary responsibilities will include the day-to-day operation of injection moulding machines, ensuring adherence to quality control standards, and upholding clean room protocols. You will be tasked with operating and overseeing various machines, ensuring the efficiency and quality of the parts produced, and maintaining effective communication with your team members. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in machine operation and machining techniques. Previous experience in injection moulding is advantageous. Your responsibilities will also involve knowledge of machine setup, where you will be required to prepare the machine by selecting the appropriate mold and material. During the operation phase, you will load plastic pellets into the hopper and configure temperature and pressure settings. The injection process involves heating the plastic until it melts and then injecting it into the mold under high pressure. Subsequently, you will oversee the cooling process, allowing the molded part to solidify before ejecting it from the mold. Maintenance of the machinery is crucial for optimal performance and safety. It is essential to regularly inspect and upkeep the machine to ensure its efficiency.
