Role Description This is a full-time On-site role for Coconut Procurement located in Pollachi, Coimbatore. The candidate is responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality coconuts from suppliers, farmers, and aggregators at optimal cost and quality standards. This role involves vendor development, negotiation, market analysis, and ensuring timely delivery to meet production and operational requirements. Qualifications Educational : Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, Rural Management, or related fields MBA or PG Diploma in Agribusiness Management or Supply Chain (preferred for managerial roles) Experience: 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in agri-commodities like coconut, areca nut, or similar produce Field-level experience in rural/agri procurement and vendor handling Additional: Familiarity with local/regional languages based on sourcing areas Proficiency in MS Excel or ERP systems is a plus Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively Key Skills & Competencies Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing vendor networks, ensuring quality procurement, and managing field-level operations across key sourcing regions. Preference will be given to candidates who are based in or familiar with Sangola, Nashik, Solapur, or Ahmednagar, as these are our core operational zones for pomegranate sourcing.
