IT Support Engineer - SAP SAP On-prem systems support Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain all SAP components including ECC, BW, BOBJ and Solution Manager. Perform system refreshes, client copies, transport management, kernel upgrades, and patching. Monitor and optimize system performance (ST03, ST06, ST22, SM21, etc.). Manage SAP database backups, disaster recovery procedures, and storage capacity planning. Perform root cause analysis for ABAP dumps, system failures, or performance bottlenecks. SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud (RISE) Liaise with SAP to manage the S/4HANA environment under the RISE model. Monitor and support provisioning, onboarding, and configuration of RISE systems. Support technical release upgrades, Fiori front-end server maintenance,. Oversee tenant management (DEV, QA, PROD), perform cloud patching coordination, and track SAP OSS notes & release schedules. SAP Security & Authorizations Support technical components such as secure RFCs, trusted systems, SSO, and encryption. Implement and manage SAProuter, SNC, and TLS configurations. Conduct audits of system-level authorizations and technical user management. Design and manage SAP security roles and authorizations, including user provisioning and segregation of duties (SoD). Conduct periodic access reviews, risk assessments, and compliance audits. Collaborate with functional teams for secure role design aligning with business processes. Monitoring & Incident Management Respond to alerts and troubleshoot performance, connectivity, or job failures across landscapes. Provide Level 2/3 support for SAP Basis incidents, including on-call rotations. Change Management & Documentation Manage transport routes and change control procedures. Document all architecture, configurations, and SOPs. Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams on cross-functional initiatives. SAP Content Server support: Administer and maintain SAP Content Server on Maxdb. Configure repositories and ensure integration with ECC/S4 and other SAP modules. Troubleshoot issues related to document storage, retrieval, and repository availability. SAP PI/PO: Manage and support SAP Process Integration / Process Orchestration (PI/PO) landscape availability. Purpose/Key Accountabilities The person is reporting to the Project & Engineering Manager. He is responsible for the electrical design of new process lines and facilities , designing and developing engineering systems, coordinating with different teams to design and construct complete electrical control panels/ PLC panels. The accountabilities of the position are: 1. Ensure that all engineering and manufacturing processes are in keeping with the health and safety regulations of the authority having jurisdiction. 2. Analyzing project specifications, research equipment vendors, developing equipment data sheets and liaison with purchasing on request for quotations (RFQ) 3. Complete electrical design for facilities and process equipment, working with a team to deliver complete solutions as required. 4. Documenting design using CAD 5. Work with interdepartmental teams to align programs and resources to develop technical solutions of problems aiming to increase equipment reliability. Financial/Monetary (Revenue/Cost): Cooperate closely with operations and engineering groups to deliver projects in time and budget Review of contracts and purchase agreements, provide input to maximize the company benefit Plan well and eliminate costly rework or delays in execution. Customer/Client (Internal/External): Ensure that the by-directional information exchange is accurate and timely. Ensure and keep record of all information transfers and their status Work with interdepartmental teams to align programs and resources, develop solutions for issues that may arise. Suppliers/Vendors (Regulators/Others): Work with suppliers and vendors to maximize benefit to the company while maintaining project deadlines, provide solutions when problems with delivery arise. Required Candidate Profile University degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience with PLC programming will be advantage. 5-7 years of experience in a similar position. AutoCAD experience is a must. Experience with Solid works will be an added advantage. Proficiency in written and spoken English language is a must. Ability and willingness to work and travel in different locations and abroad. Ability to understand, interpret and implement company of Policies & Procedures. Excellent knowledge of MS-Office Suite. Balanced personality, ability to remain focused and calm under pressure. Role & responsibilities Plans projected raw material needs/ receipts based on 3- and 1-month rolling forecasts from Sales. Reviews same with Scheduler as input to the latters final forecast submission to suppliers. Requisitions raw materials, based on MRP tables and other tools drawn from the Master schedule and releases POs for raw materials from suppliers. Maintains the Purchasing and MRP in ERP system. Duties will include creating and maintaining part codes, BOMS, MRP views and safety stocks. Maintains inventories of raw materials based on Safety stocks/MRP set ups and is accountable for over and under stocking. Recommends material substitutions based on approved equivalents from Technology (Proprietary Products) and customer approved equivalents for Primary Business when risk of supply shortages. Expedites inbound orders and reconciles discrepancies in shipments and/or invoices with suppliers and toll customers. Develops and maintains relationship with internal customers (Sales and Manufacturing) to stay aware of their business dynamics. Establishes positive and effective relationship with suppliers and carriers.
