Job Description

As an experienced Enterprise Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network infrastructures in Azure Cloud, ensuring high availability and security. Your expertise in routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, MPLS, switching, and firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA and Palo Alto will be essential in leading network security initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing complex network infrastructures (LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN) in Azure Cloud to ensure high availability and security. - Leading network security initiatives, including firewall configurations, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. - Managing and optimizing load balancing solutions using platforms like Citrix NetScaler, F5, or Azure Load Balancer. - Overseeing cloud networking operations in Azure, including VPC design, routing, and hybrid connectivity. - Collaborating with storage teams to ensure network integration with SAN/NAS systems, including performance tuning and redundancy. - Automating network tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Monitoring network performance using tools like SolarWinds and implementing proactive measures to prevent outages. - Leading disaster recovery planning and network failover strategies. - Providing mentorship to junior engineers and contributing to technical documentation and SOPs. Your qualifications should include: - 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering. - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and network segmentation. - Experience with Azure cloud networking and security in respective Cloud environments. - Familiarity with storage networking concepts, including iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and software-defined storage. - Proficiency in load balancing technologies.
