Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Remote)

Working hours: US CST business hours

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

VMware-to-KubeVirt migrations

Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with
VMware vSphere/ESXi
, including architecture, administration, and migrations.
Proven knowledge of
AWS core services
and
Kubernetes (EKS or upstream distributions)
.
Experience with
Spectro Cloud (optional)
, especially in VMware to
KubeVirt migration scenarios
.
In-depth understanding of
KubeVirt architecture
, operation, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with
VMO (Virtual Machine Orchestrator)
concepts, architecture, and operations.
Strong working knowledge of both
Linux and Windows operating systems
in enterprise environments.
Solid understanding of cloud networking, storage, security best practices, and infrastructure automation.
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g.,
Terraform
,
Helm
,
Ansible
).
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
