DevOps Engineer

You should be comfortable working in Linux environments, automating tasks with scripts, and configuring DevOps ecosystems at both infrastructure and pipeline levels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Jenkins / CloudBees Jenkins

• Design and write Jenkinsfile for pipeline-as-code (declarative/scripted).
• Create and manage multi-branch pipelines.
• Configure SCM/webhook/cron triggers, post-build actions, and shared libraries.
• Install and manage plugins (Git, SonarQube Scanner, Artifactory).
• Set up Jenkins agents and monitor build health and logs.

2. Docker

• Write and maintain Dockerfiles for application packaging.
• Use docker-compose for local testing.
• Build, tag, and push images to JFrog Artifactory Docker registry.
• Follow best practices for security and cleanup automation.

3. SonarQube

• Configure and manage SonarQube for Java/Maven or .NET projects.
• Enforce quality gates via Jenkins integration.
• Create and manage rulesets and access control.

4. JFrog Artifactory

• Set up and manage local and virtual repositories (Maven, Docker, npm).
• Implement retention and access control policies.
• Automate artifact uploads using Jenkins plugins or REST APIs.

5. GitHub Enterprise

• Manage repositories, branches, and pull requests.
• Configure branch protection rules and webhook triggers.
• Implement GitFlow or trunk-based workflows.

6. Linux & Scripting

• Navigate and manage Linux file systems and permissions.
• Write Bash/Python/PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Configure log rotation, cleanup, and reverse proxies (Nginx/Apache).
• Troubleshoot logs and performance issues.

Minimum Requirements

• 23 years of total DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience (2+ years) with at least two of: Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, GitHub Enterprise.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows and automation.
• Ability to explain real-world configurations and implementations done personally.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to

  Infrastructure-as-Code

  tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of

  DevSecOps

  and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios).
• Experience with

  .NET Core

  deployments (IIS or Kestrel hosting).
