About The Role
Project Role :Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description :Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary:As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will engage in the ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve addressing various technical issues, providing both remote and onsite assistance, and ensuring that configured services operate smoothly across different platforms. You will work within a defined operating model and processes, focusing on hardware and software support while implementing technology at the operating system level across all server and network areas. Your role will also include basic and intermediate level troubleshooting, ensuring that systems remain operational and efficient. Roles & Responsibilities:- Administering Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, system stability, and data integrity.

Optimize the database performance through query tuning, index optimization, and other performance enhancements.

Automate the regular database backups and maintenance tasks using SQL Server Agent jobs, reducing manual intervention and increasing reliability.

Manage SQL Server login and user creation processes for both SQL Server authentication and Windows authentication.

Configure and maintain the AlwaysOn Availability Groups (AGs) for high availability and automatic failover capabilities.

Manage log shipping, and database mirroring to ensure minimal downtime during the failure scenarios.

Perform the failover and failback activities in SQL Server Clustered environments, ensuring high availability of the SQL Server instance.- Manage SQL Server cluster nodes and ensure the seamless failover during hardware or software failures to maintain uninterrupted service.

Administer the MYSQL Database clusters and Postgres DB with Good Hands-on skill to write the SQL queries Stored Procedures, functions and triggers. Professional & Technical

Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.- Good To Have
Skills:

Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.- Strong understanding of backup and recovery strategies for SQL Server.- Familiarity with SQL Server security features and best practices.- Experience in implementing and managing SQL Server replication and clustering.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.- A 15 years full time education is required. Qualification 15 years full time education
