Job Summary

Manage a team of 300+ Azure Cloud engineers and architectsDeliver Azure enterprise solutions GloballyCollaborate with cross functional teams such as DevOps engineers architects and business stakeholders shared services to design and implement solutions that meet business requirementsMentor and coach DevOps Engineers on development and deployment best practicesAct as an Azure leadership contact with client executive teams

Responsibilities

Provide consultation and monthly reports with respect to the clients Azure cloud-based infrastructureCoach mentor and develop direct reports including overseeing new employee on-boardingActively manage bench time to support progress toward utilization targets individual development goals and solution development goalsUnderstand sales pipeline and team capacity and capabilities and work with practice leadership to adjust staffing plans as neededFoster a culture of delivering with InnovationBuild and maintain a culture of trust through open and honest feedback and accountabilityWork with COEs and CIS practice leadership to define the solution development roadmapContribute to Azure solution development activities directly and through coordinating time and contributions by the teamContribute to blog posts speak at user groups / conferences and present at internal briefings as needed

Qualifications

20+ Years in Global Delivery Management10+ years of hands-on experience in delivery and architecting and configuring Azure Cloud solutionsCertified Azure ArchitectStrong experience with Azure DevOps Git and other DevOps toolsFamiliarity with Windows operating systems VDI infrastructure Virtualization technologiesStrong networking skills in Azure with familiarity with routing and firewallsPossess a broad base of technical skills business acumen and a strong desire to support the clientExperience managing mentoring and coaching peopleUnderstand the detail behind the implemented solution and having the ability to communicate the high-level vision with the clientThe ability to think past the products and create solutions to meet the business/IT needsEffectively communicate solutions architecture to the client third parties and the teamEncompass strong listening and interpersonal skills an ability to solve complex problems a big picture mentality and an aptitude to visualize the solutionPresentation and facilitation of executive level meetings group presentations and collaborative technical workshops
