Infotainment Triage and debug

As a Software Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and resolving issues related to Infotainment systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting root cause analysis of issues based on logs/traces - Identifying duplicate tickets through root cause analysis - Assigning appropriate severity and priority to defects - Ensuring the quality of reported defects - Analyzing and determining the correct domain of raised defects - Following defined process guidelines for creating and maintaining triaging documentation - Collaborating with developers, testers, and automation engineers to understand and clarify reported defects - Performing tests for functional/non-functional requirements when necessary Primary Skills required for this role include: - Proficiency in Infotainment system defect analysis and triaging - Expertise in trace or log analysis (DLT/CAN/Ethernet logs etc.) - Familiarity with automotive tools like DLT Viewer, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, DTS Monaco etc. - Strong knowledge in Automotive Infotainment system testing for various OEMs, regions, and languages - Understanding of automotive communication protocols such as SOME-IP, SOME-IP SD, CAN, Flexray, MOST, Ethernet diagnostics UDP, UDS ISO-14229 - Excellent communication skills In addition to the technical aspects of the role, you will work in the area of Software Engineering, focusing on the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions/applications. Your responsibilities will involve applying scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems, developing and applying software engineering practice and knowledge, and collaborating with other software engineers and stakeholders.
