Job Description: Designation: Infotainment HMI Test Lead Experience: 8-12 Years Work Location: Pune Education: BE/ME - CSE/EEE/ECE or equivalent Key Responsibilities Leadership and Coordination: Lead and mentor a team of testers to execute HMI testing activities. Plan, prioritize, and manage testing tasks to meet project deadlines. Coordinate with developers, UX designers, and system engineers to ensure alignment on requirements and test coverage. Test Strategy and Planning: Define and document comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for HMI systems. Develop and maintain automated and manual test suites for HMI functionalities. Analyze user stories, requirements, and system designs to identify test scenarios. Testing and Validation: Conduct functional, usability, and performance testing for HMI systems across various hardware and software configurations. Identify, document, and track bugs or usability issues through the defect lifecycle. Validate multimedia, navigation, voice recognition, gesture controls, and other infotainment functionalities. Process Improvement: Drive process enhancements to improve testing efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices for HMI testing in the infotainment domain. Stay updated on new testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends. Reporting and Documentation: Generate detailed test reports, highlighting progress, issues, and risks. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing status and outcomes. Ensure proper documentation of test cases, scripts, and results for future reference. Qualifications: Experience: 8+ years of experience in HMI or infotainment system testing. Proven experience leading testing teams and managing complex projects. Technical Skills: Proficiency in HMI testing tools, frameworks, and automation. Knowledge of infotainment systems, including navigation, connectivity (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), and multimedia. Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) and version control systems (Git). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar. Knowledg of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet). Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies. ISTQB certification or equivalent. #LI-DNI
