Application Configuration Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and management of

  MoveIT

  or other MFT solutions, ensuring secure and reliable file transfer capabilities aligned with business needs.
• Review security findings (from penetration testing, TVRA, audit reports) and develop compliant, risk-mitigating solutions within or outside the MoveIT environment.
• Configure and deploy MFT applications, adhering to organizational standards and security policies.
• Collaborate with Security, Architecture, Compliance, and Data Governance teams to understand security requirements and design effective mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, VB) for automation, monitoring, and configuration tasks.
• Understand and implement file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS) securely and effectively.
• Review internal control standards and assist in developing solutions to close identified gaps.
• Manage multiple MFT projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Document configurations, best practices, and solution approaches for audit and compliance purposes.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, threats, and new features related to MFT solutions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience with

  MoveIT

  implementations, configuration, and management.
• Proven ability to configure and deploy MFT solutions in large, enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of

  File Transfer Protocols

  such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like

  PowerShell

  and

  VB

  for automation and customization.
• Ability to interpret security findings and design compliant solutions to mitigate risks.
• Experience in reviewing and aligning solutions with

  Internal Control Standards

  and security frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with Security, Architecture, Compliance, and Data Governance teams.
• Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
