Information Technology Specialist

The Specialist in this role will develop IT solutions in adherence to policies, guidelines and procedures of Global IS in line with requirements. You will need to participate in global projects in the specific IS Tools area and contribute with knowledge in that field to ensure that projects can be completed as expected and within the timeframe. Your responsibilities will include designing, debugging, documenting, and testing a range of applications in the IS Tools area. Additionally, you will be required to handle adaptations of complex software within the IS Tools area. You should have the ability to plan your workload and work effectively in teams. Being self-motivated, meticulous, and organized is essential for success in this role. Good communication skills are required to effectively coordinate with other IS functions and peers across locations working in different time zones. You must communicate with stakeholders using reasoning to achieve successful outcomes for the assigned responsibilities, specifically in your own IS Tools area. Confirmed analytical skills, along with the ability to think "outside the box," are crucial. The solution to the problem should be based mainly on previous experience and analysis of factual and qualitative information. Your work will impact the business through the quality of your work and your ability to deliver high-quality and successful solutions within your area of expertise. Technical know-how and experience applicable to tools such as Open Text SMAX, HP PPM, Power BI, or Power Automate, in technologies like Python, .Net, JavaScript, and PL/SQL, are necessary where services are provided by the Center. You should be knowledgeable about the IS strategy and how different teams integrate and interact. Understanding trends and developments in the information technology area is important. You must have in-depth knowledge of trends and developments within your own IT IS Tools area. Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential. To be successful in this role, you should have a degree or equivalent from a reputed institute. Preferred certifications in HP applications and formal training or certifications in related technologies such as MCSD, .NET, Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Python, Power Automate, or Power BI are advantageous. Additionally, you should have 2-5 years of relevant IT experience working with reputed companies and technical knowledge in specific technical areas like HP PPM, HP SM, .NET, Java, etc. Experience in working in offshore teams is also beneficial.,
