Information Security Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures to protect the organization's information assets.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant information security standards, including CISM and ISO 27001.
• Lead and coordinate security audits and assessments, acting as the ISO 27001 lead auditor.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and reporting to management.
• Provide training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the integration of security practices into all business processes.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the organization's security posture.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 7 to 12 years of experience in information security management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of information security standards and frameworks, including CISM and ISO 27001.
• Proven experience in conducting security audits and assessments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications in information security (e.g., CISM, CISSP) are highly desirable.
