Information Architect

As an Architectural Lead at our company, you will be responsible for defining, leading, and delivering coherent strategic and tactical architectural thinking across information and data architectures, MRDM, data strategies, and information and data governances. You will work within the Enterprise Data Architecture Framework to extend, manage, and benchmark projects against leading practices, models, standards, frameworks, and the overall Blueprint for a project. Your role will involve supporting the Head/Lead of Information Architecture for Operations in developing strategy and best practices for Information Architecture. You will contribute to the leaders of the overall Enterprise Data Strategy in partnership with AstraZeneca business functions, solution developments, and functional projects. In addition, your responsibilities will include architecture and technology evangelization, developing architecture roadmap, alignment, and performing architecture, leading practice, and technology education. You will also oversee Architectural Governance across various disciplines, making architectural decisions and progressing work to appropriate governance and assurance forums, boards, and councils. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and deliver strategic and tactical architectural thinking across information and data architectures - Work within the Enterprise Data Architecture Framework - Support the Head/Lead of Information Architecture for Operations - Contribute to the overall Enterprise Data Strategy - Develop architecture roadmap and alignment - Perform architecture, leading practice, and technology education - Oversee Architectural Governance across disciplines **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Data Management - Experience in leading enterprise data platform architectural thinking - Proficiency in conceptual and logical data modelling technologies - Experience in information and data regulatory governances - Blend of data/information architecture, analysis, and engineering skills - Knowledge of industry IT architectural patterns and methodologies *Desirable Skills:* - Practical examples of designing and providing data engineering/architectural blueprints - Familiarity with Information and Data Governance frameworks - Understanding of Data Platforms concepts and cloud-based containerization strategies - Experience in Agile data definition scrums - Proficiency in tooling such as metadata cataloguing tools, data modelling tools, EA tools,
