Informatica Developer

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Teradata to design and implement robust data integration solutions. This role involves end-to-end ownership of ETL workflows, performance optimization, and close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to support enterprise data warehouse initiatives. Key Responsibilities: ETL Development (Informatica PowerCenter): Design, develop, and implement scalable ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter . Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into the Teradata data warehouse. Create, manage, and optimize ETL workflows and mappings. Teradata Database Management: Create and manage tables, indexes, stored procedures , and other database objects in Teradata . Ensure optimal database performance and maintain scalable data structures. Data Mapping and Transformation: Develop data mapping specifications and define transformation logic. Implement data cleansing, validation, and transformation rules within ETL processes. Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL performance by tuning SQL queries, mappings, and workflows. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the ETL and data integration pipeline. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for ETL jobs, data mappings, SQL scripts , and Teradata configurations . Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Collaboration & Quality Assurance: Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure accurate data delivery. Conduct unit, system, and integration testing to validate ETL workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. Required Skills : Hands-on experience in ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter . Strong knowledge of Teradata and its ecosystem.
