Responsibilities: · Customer Engagement: · Initiate and maintain regular communication with potential customers through phone calls, emails, and other digital channels. · Understand customer shipping needs and provide relevant information about freight forwarding services. · Negotiate rates with customers and collaborate with the pricing team to ensure profitability. · Relationship Building: · Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their business requirements and foster long-term partnerships. · Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional freight and logistics services. · Product Knowledge: · Stay up-to-date with industry trends, shipping regulations, and the company's service offerings. · Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the company's freight forwarding solutions to customers. · Sales Presentations: · Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company's capabilities and value proposition. · CRM Utilization: · Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, update customer profiles, and track sales activities. · Generate reports on sales performance and customer engagement for management review. · Market Research: · Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and changes in the freight forwarding industry. · Provide feedback to the management team on market dynamics and potential business opportunities. · Problem Resolution: · Address and resolve customer issues promptly, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
