Industrial System Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for creating, delivering, and standardizing discrete event simulation models for existing and future manufacturing lines, plants, and FALs. You will collaborate with industrial engineers to balance production rates, understand material flow, determine buffer requirements, and maximize factory throughput. Additionally, you will define future processes and improved ways of working (WoW). Key Responsibilities: - Produce and maintain discrete event simulation models - Define and specify the most appropriate WoW for generating simulations - Create knowledge transfer solutions - Support key projects to ensure tangible benefits and long-term performance - Gather and wrangle data for modeling purposes Qualifications Required: - Engineering Graduation in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering - Strong project management experience with multicultural teams - Knowledge of industrialization principles and production management - Understanding of manufacturing processes and Lean Manufacturing Principles - Experience in discrete event simulation modeling and variance analysis - Scientific programming skills (exposure to SimTalk, Java, Python is a plus) - Data analytics skills - Autonomy, creativity, problem-solving skills, ability to convince, and good communication skills Additional Company Details: Airbus India Private Limited is committed to equal opportunities for all employees.
