With a strong focus on addressing water scarcity through desalination, water reuse, and zero liquid discharge (ZLD), our client has successfully completed over 2,000 projects across 60 countries over the past 40 years. As the AGM/DGM - Sales, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to establish our client as the foremost technology supplier in the areas of Desalination, water recycle, reuse, and ZLD in India. Your responsibilities will include generating inquiries from end users, EPC firms, and infrastructure markets, closing business deals, managing regional targets, sales forecasting, and providing competition intelligence. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) with a preference for industrial selling experience. With a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years in EPC or water treatment companies catering to industrial clients, you will be well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a background in wastewater design and sales, will be advantageous. In addition to overseeing day-to-day sales and business development functions, you will be responsible for achieving top-line and bottom-line targets within your assigned region. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams to prepare comprehensive techno-commercial proposals, coordinating post-order support, managing key accounts, and driving cost optimization efforts.
