Job Description

Role Overview: You will be based in Gurgaon, India, working in the challenging technical environment of the Global Customer Operations, Mechanical Systems department at Siemens Energy. Your primary responsibility will be to provide engineering support in COMOS and NX tools for Gas Turbine interface engineering in Finspang, Sweden. You will work on updating and revising PIDS in COMOS, solving issues in NX models for Core, proposing action plans, collaborating with stakeholders, presenting technical studies, and driving cost-saving ideas. Key Responsibilities: - Work with updating and revising PIDS in COMOS for various core systems - Work with NX models for Core and solve issues for lightweight models - Propose action plans, estimate work efforts and schedule - Collaborate independently with stakeholders to achieve project goals/requirements - Present technical studies with recommended solutions - Highlight risks/challenges in the task/project - Have exposure to DIN/EN/ISO global standards - Benchmark knowledge internally/externally at Siemens - Work on cost-saving ideas and document implementation in PLM2020, SAP - Release and maintain reference documentation in COMOS, NX, PLM2020, Team Centre, or related databases Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree - 3 to 10 years of relevant engineering work experience - Extensive knowledge of COMOS and Siemens NX software - Ability to travel globally - Excellent team player with high flexibility in taking new tasks/responsibilities - Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to interact with interface partners - Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English language,
