Indirect Taxation Associate

The responsibilities of this role include handling end-to-end GST litigation, from assessment to appellate proceedings. You will be responsible for drafting replies to various notices such as Audit Notices, Investigation Notices, Enquiry Notices, ASMT-10, DRC-01A, Show Cause Notices, and appeals against orders of Adjudicating Authority/Appellate Authority. Additionally, you will represent these filings before Tax Authorities, Appellate Authority, Tribunal/Court. You will also need to respond to client queries via email, provide legal opinions on GST-related issues, and advise clients on day-to-day business matters related to GST law. It is essential to keep clients informed about the latest GST rulings, recommendations, clarifications, notifications issued by CBIC, amendments in GST law/regulations, and judicial pronouncements. The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, regulations, and indirect tax case laws. Strong drafting skills are required with minimal supervision. Familiarity with filing replies and appeals on the GST portal is necessary. Previous experience in representing cases before tax authorities is preferred. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with flexibility in working hours and days. A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously are crucial. Professional qualifications such as CA/LLB with a minimum of 3 years of experience in GST Litigation and Advisory are preferred.,
