Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Indirect Tax Compliance:
Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and submission of all indirect tax returns (e.g., VAT, GST) for the company's operations in multiple regions. Monitor and interpret changes in indirect tax laws and ensure compliance.
Indirect Tax Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement effective indirect tax strategies to optimize the companys tax position while ensuring compliance with local regulations. Provide advice on tax implications of business operations, including cross-border transactions and supply chain activities.
Tax Audits & Disputes:
Manage indirect tax audits and disputes with tax authorities. Represent the company in communication with tax authorities and manage the resolution of any indirect tax-related issues or claims.
Tax Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and maintain accurate indirect tax documentation, including tax assessments, forecasts, and reports for internal stakeholders. Monitor tax compliance across regions and prepare necessary reports for senior management and auditors.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. A Masters degree or professional qualification
