Job Title: Sales Manager – Mechanical Line (Design & Scaffolding) Location: Delhi- Netaji Subhash Place Pitampura Department: Sales & Business Development Reports To: Director – Sales Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with a strong background in mechanical engineering , and hands-on knowledge of scaffolding systems and design principles . The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building strong customer relationships, and promoting technically sound solutions in mechanical products and scaffolding services to clients across industrial, construction, and infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities in mechanical services, scaffolding systems, and related products. Generate revenue through B2B client acquisition and key account management. Prepare and deliver technical/commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Technical Support & Solution Selling Leverage knowledge of scaffolding systems and mechanical design to provide tailored solutions to clients. Coordinate with the design and engineering team to provide accurate drawings, load calculations, and method statements as required. Provide technical presentations and demonstrations to clients and consultants. Client Relationship Management Maintain long-term relationships with contractors, consultants, and procurement teams. Understand client needs and provide value-added support before and after sales. Market Analysis & Strategy Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitor analysis, and pricing strategy. Develop and implement sales plans to meet regional and national targets. Coordination & Reporting Coordinate with operations, design, and execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Maintain sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline dashboards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in scaffolding , mechanical systems , or industrial services . Strong understanding of scaffolding design standards , erection methodology, and load-bearing calculations. Proficient in AutoCAD / design tools (preferred). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive environment. Willingness to travel to sites/client locations as needed.
