Job Description – Indian Cuisine Commis (Commis 1 & 2)

Location: Delhi NCR
Department: Kitchen – Indian Cuisine

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation and cooking of Indian cuisine, including tandoor, curries, gravies, rice, and accompaniments.
  • Handle assigned sections independently (Commis 1) or under supervision (Commis 2).
  • Prepare mise-en-place, marinades, gravies, and dough as per standard recipes.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
  • Support senior chefs during service and peak operational hours.
  • Proper handling of kitchen equipment and ingredients.
  • Follow SOPs and instructions given by CDP / Sous Chef.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • Commis 1: 2–4 years in an Indian kitchen
  • Commis 2: 1–2 years in an Indian kitchen
  • Good knowledge of North Indian cuisine (veg & non-veg) including tandoor basics.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Team-oriented attitude with willingness to learn and grow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.82 - ₹28,000.15 per month
