Job Description: Communications & Social Media Executive Location: Kolkata Organisation: India Humanity Foundation (IHF) Type: Full-time About IHF: India Humanity Foundation (IHF) is dedicated to large-scale social impact initiatives across literacy, health, and community development. We are looking for a creative and driven professional to lead our communications and digital presence, ensuring our message inspires, engages, and mobilizes people to take action. Role Overview: The Communications & Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing IHF’s communications strategy , including social media management, content creation, newsletters, and presentations. This role requires a blend of creativity, writing skills, design sense, and digital marketing understanding to increase awareness, engagement, and support for IHF initiatives. Key Responsibilities:- Social Media Management: * Manage and grow IHF’s presence across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube). * Create engaging content including posts, reels, stories, and videos. * Develop monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns and events. * Monitor analytics, track performance, and optimize campaigns. Content Creation: * Write compelling captions, blogs, and website updates. * Design posts, infographics, and presentations (Canva/PowerPoint). * Create newsletters to engage donors, partners, and volunteers. Campaigns & Outreach: * Support campaigns like *Padho Bharat 2025* through creative storytelling. * Coordinate with internal teams to gather impact stories, photos, and videos. * Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels. Brand & Communication: * Maintain IHF’s brand voice and tone. * Develop communication materials for events, donor presentations, and CSR outreach. * Build community engagement through hashtags, contests, and user-generated content. Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. * 1-2 years of experience in social media management / communications (preferably in NGOs or CSR sector). * Strong writing and storytelling skills in English (Hindi proficiency a plus). * Proficiency in Canva/Adobe/PowerPoint for designing creatives. * Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager & digital marketing tools is desirable. * Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently. * Passion for social causes and making an impact. Job Title: Academic Coordinator Location: Kolkata Reports to: Principal / Head of School Job Summary: The Academic Coordinator will oversee curriculum planning, academic delivery, and teacher support to ensure high standards of learning and student achievement in the school. The role involves coordinating academic programs, monitoring classroom practices, supporting teachers’ professional growth, and fostering a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and implement the school’s academic programs in line with prescribed curriculum standards. Plan timetables, academic calendars, and assessment schedules. Support teachers with lesson planning, teaching methodologies, and classroom management. Monitor and evaluate teaching-learning processes through class observations and feedback sessions. Organize orientation, training, and professional development workshops for teachers. Facilitate regular meetings with staff to discuss academic progress and challenges.
