India Fundamental Equity Analyst

As a Fundamental Equity Research Analyst with our Mumbai office, you will play a crucial role in our global investment team. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting fundamental research on India equity with a potential to explore other regional markets like South East Asia and Australia. - Keeping a close eye on macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, and regulatory changes to identify investment opportunities and risks. - Developing and maintaining company financial models, along with performing valuation analysis. - Actively participating in corporate meetings, conducting channel checks, and engaging in industry/investor events. - Contributing to the research and idea generation process through written and verbal reports. - Collaborating with team members on both regular and ad-hoc research projects. To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Demonstrate top academic performance and preferably hold a CFA charter. - Possess 3-5 years of experience in sell-side or buy-side equity research, investment banking, or related roles in finance. - Showcase strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and valuation techniques. - Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Show a sense of responsibility, integrity, and self-drive with a curiosity for learning while being an effective team player. - Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities efficiently.,
