Job Title: AI & ML Computational Science Consultant Location: Bangalore (BDC7C) Experience Level: 5+ Years About the Role The AI/ML Computational Science Consultant will develop and optimize advanced AI/ML models to solve complex business problems, leveraging large datasets for insights. This role involves leading a team of data scientists, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders. The consultant will also focus on deploying models as APIs and staying updated with the latest AI/ML advancements. Key Responsibilities Model Development: Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models (both supervised and unsupervised) to address complex business challenges. Data Handling: Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation while analyzing large datasets for insights. Anomaly Detection & Time Series: Develop models for anomaly detection and perform time series analysis. Deployment: Package and deploy AI/ML models as APIs for seamless integration with other systems. Team Leadership: Mentor junior data scientists and business analysts, leading project teams. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and gather requirements for successful delivery. Communication: Present findings and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of AI/ML advancements to enhance model performance. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for models, algorithms, and processes. Technical Skills: Utilize Python, PySpark, SQL, Excel, and Databricks for data analysis and model deployment. Qualifications Required Qualifications Education :Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Experience :Over 5 years in data science, machine learning, and AI. Technical Proficiency :Strong skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, Excel; experience with anomaly detection and time series analysis. Leadership Skills :Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Communication Skills :Excellent interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. API Deployment Experience :Familiarity with packaging models as APIs; experience with Databricks is preferred. Advanced Knowledge :Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts is a plus. Preferred Skills Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies. Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
