Job Description

The Aerospace Defence & Marine (AD&M) business of TE Connectivity is uniquely qualified to provide innovative solutions for a variety of applications. This includes ruggedized interconnects, fiber optic products, sealed harness assemblies, high-performance relays, and power distribution units. As an Inspector for incoming components, sub-assemblies, finished goods, and piece parts, you will be responsible for performing inspections based on specifications, control plans, or customer-specific requirements. Daily tasks will include clearing lots based on priority, monitoring and clearing lots using FIFO method, providing training to incoming inspectors, conducting daily MRB reviews, managing blocked stock, ensuring quality requirements are met for incoming materials, maintaining quality documentation, utilizing SAP for material management, handling non-conformities and quality notifications, performing CAPA for all non-conformity reports, coordinating with suppliers and SQA for quality improvement and resolution of issues, adhering to ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 standards, implementing 5S management at the incoming inspection area, and working on continuous improvement projects to reduce 100% inspection based on customer rejection. Desired Candidate Profile: Education/ Knowledge: - Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - 3 to 6 years of relevant experience Functional Competencies: - Ability to read and understand drawings - Familiarity with key characteristics - Proficiency in reading and understanding quality inspection plans - Knowledge of inspection equipment and machinery - Familiarity with problem-solving tools - Experience in implementing 5S methodologies - Product knowledge - Understanding of Quality Management System (QMS) documentation - Exposure to incoming and outgoing inspections - Knowledge of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), 7QC Tools, and 8D methodologies - Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP - Exposure to supplier quality management - Proficiency in spoken and written English Competencies: - Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork TE Connectivity is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Veterans.,
