Job Summary:

Incident Response Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and

  investigate potential security incidents

  across networks, systems, and applications.
• Perform

  forensic analysis, root cause investigation, and evidence collection

  following security incidents.
• Lead or participate in

  incident response efforts

  , including containment, mitigation, and recovery.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams to

  implement preventive measures

  and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Maintain and enhance

  incident response plans, playbooks, and protocols

  .
• Stay updated on

  emerging threats, attack techniques, and cybersecurity best practices

  .

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Certifications such as

  CISSP, CEH, GCIH, GCFA, or CompTIA Security+

  .
• Experience with

  cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) incident response

  .
• Knowledge of

  scripting or automation tools

  for incident response (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience in

  SOC operations, threat hunting, and advanced malware analysis

  .
• Familiarity with

  compliance standards

  such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or HIPAA.
