Inbound Tour Consultant (Operations)

Role Overview: As a Travel Itinerary Planner, your role will involve planning and managing outbound travel itineraries for both individual and group leisure travelers. You will be responsible for coordinating with international Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and consolidators to address destination-specific queries, pricing, and logistics. Your expertise will be crucial in suggesting relevant destination options and assembling package components such as flights, visas, hotels, and tours tailored to meet client needs. Additionally, collaborating with destination representatives in India for package consolidations will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and manage outbound travel itineraries for individual and group leisure travelers - Coordinate with international DMCs and consolidators for destination-specific queries, pricing, and logistics - Suggest relevant destination options and package components (flights, visas, hotels, tours) as per client needs - Collaborate with destination representatives based in India for package consolidations - Maintain relationships with preferred vendors and establish new partnerships as necessary - Assist in preparing cost-effective and customized travel quotes - Work closely with internal teams and offer support on inbound queries when necessary - Guide and supervise an assistant for documentation, data entry, or operational follow-ups - Provide after-sales support and address any real-time client concerns Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of experience in outbound leisure travel for individuals and groups - Strong knowledge of global destinations, visa formalities, and DMC networks - Experience in creating customized itineraries across various regions such as Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas - Familiarity with international agent partnerships and pricing strategies - Ability to manage multiple itineraries and vendor conversations simultaneously - Capable of handling inbound processes if required, with a different vendor set - Working knowledge of Galileo or other Global Distribution System (GDS) platforms is a plus - Highly organized, client-facing, and adept at meeting deadlines Please Note: The job description did not include any additional details about the company.,
