At PwC, our people in data and analytics engineering focus on leveraging advanced technologies and techniques to design and develop robust data solutions for clients. They play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decisionmaking and driving business growth.
In data engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

Why PWC

& Summary Design, develop, and maintain scalable big data solutions. Implement data processing pipelines using PySpark and Hadoop. Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. Manage and maintain HDFS for efficient data storage and retrieval.

Responsibilities

Utilize Hive for data warehousing and querying. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle. Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure optimal performance

Mandatory skill sets

Proficiency in Python Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and analysis. SQL Expertise Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying and managing databases. PySpark Experience with PySpark for big data processing. Hadoop Handson experience with Hadoop ecosystem components. Hive Basics Understanding of Hive for data warehousing and querying. HDFS Proficiency in HDFS for data storage and management

Preferred skill sets

Hands on experience for SAP BW for almost 47 years of experience. ProblemSolving Skills Ability to solve complex data problems and optimize workflows. Collaboration Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Education qualification

B.Tech / M.Tech (Computer Science, Mathematics & Scientific Computing etc.)
