Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience working within an IMS Database environment
  • Familiarity with mainframe functional areas such as z OS Operating System Storage Databases CICS and Disaster Recovery concepts
  • Experience in IMS V15
  • 5 or Later upgrade with SMP E
  • Experience in ISV products include but are not limited to CA database tools IBM database tools Sysview Omegamon and Mainview
  • Experience in IMS Database Objects Logical Unit definitions and IMS Commands
  • Expert in IMS configuration like SYSGEN PSBGEN Subsystem configuration
  • Will serve as primary technical contact for the mainframe Database for one or more clients during transition

Technical Requirements:

  • Expertise in performing SMP E and Non SMPE Installation of ISV products
  • Expertise in IMS V15
  • 5 or later upgrade
  • Mastery of IMS Database objects PSB ACB and SYSGEN process

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Professional work experience as an IMS Mainframe System Programmer

Preferred Skills:

Technology->Mainframe Technologies->Mainframe Technologies- ALL,Technology->Mainframe Technologies->MQSeries on Mainframe,Technology->Infrastructure-Mainframes->CICS administration
