Role & responsibilities • 7 to 14 Years of Experience in Mainframe IMS System Programming. • Experience with IMS system software and related program products software. installation, migrations, customization and maintenance. • Must have experience with SMP/E maintenance utility, DBMS security interfaces, familiar with DBMS connection interfaces to other subsystems (DB2/CICS/etc) and network VTAM/IP functionality. • Experience in IMS backup and recovery scenarios - traditional image copy, FLASH, mirroring etc., methodology. • Plan and perform Health Checks and Analysis • Very good knowledge of IMS database organization • Performance analysis & tuning for DBMS subsystems • IMS Monitoring Tool- Proficient- Required Monitoring tool • Proficient in JCL, TSO/SDSF/JES2/SYSVIEW/SMP/E • Ability to debug & diagnose DBMS system and utility software • Requires IMS Sysplex experience & data sharing expertise • Various types of IMS restarts (COLD/WARM/ERE). • Knowledge about IMS SYSGEN process - Defining/Adding Transactions and Programs to the IMS system. Job Description: Mainframe CICS Admin The ideal candidate for this role will have the below experience and qualifications: Experience in upgrade/install of CICS Transaction Servers, zCEE, CICS PA and other vendor products(CAFC) along with maintenance by applying FIX packs periodically. Installation and tuning processes and procedures for CICS web services and CICS plex System manager, JVM Servers and Angels stated tasks so that all CICS services and infrastructures meet operational targets. Should be self-sufficient and able to perform most of the tasks involved in his/her role without assistance. Good knowledge on monitoring and administrative tools like Omegamon, Sysview or any other equivalent for support. Identify performance bottlenecks and provide administrative solutions where appropriate. Working knowledge of System z communications and Systems Network Architecture (SNA) concepts Ability to interpret and utilize assembler output listings. Monitor ticketing tool to resolve incidents and requests within agreed SLAs. Adopt weekends to support which get planned on rotational basis to change implementation and support client systems for 24/7 on rotational basis. Required Skills and Experience 6+ Years of Mainframe MQ System Programmer Expertise in MQ for z/OS installation and upgrades (ShopzSeries, SMP/E). Strong troubleshooting skills using MQ command line and monitoring tools. Experience with MQ Explorer, Tivoli, Omegamon, SYSVIEW, BMC MainView, MQATTACH, ICC. Knowledge of security configurations, workload management, and automation scripting. Install, configure, and maintain WMQ and associated system software. Monitor system performance & availability, implementing necessary tuning. Perform system backups, recovery, and troubleshooting for MQ issues. Develop automation scripts for monitoring, alerting, and issue resolution. Ensure security compliance and implement security best practices for MQ. Design clustering and workload balancing for high availability. Support on-call rotations for extended-hour coverage. Preferred Skills and Experience Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field. MQ upgrade from one version to another version in z/os. Administration of various MQ objects in Mainframe MQ.

Knowledge on CICS Transaction Gateway and CICS webservices and CICSplex Operations 6. Experience in vendor product install / upgrade and applying PTF for maintenance 7.
