Import Export Documentation Executive

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Import-Export Documentation Executive to manage and coordinate all documentation related to international shipments. The ideal candidate will ensure that all documentation complies with applicable regulations and is processed in a timely and accurate manner to facilitate smooth import and export operations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage all pre- and post-shipment documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other regulatory documents. Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, transporters, and other logistics partners. Ensure compliance with domestic and international trade regulations (e.g., customs, DGFT, INCOTERMS). Handle online filings such as Bill of Entry/Shipping Bill through ICEGATE and other relevant portals. Track and update the status of shipments and maintain proper records for audit and compliance purposes. Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding shipment schedules, delays, and required documentation. Liaise with CHA and government agencies for customs clearance and export/import approvals. Prepare bank-related documents for Letter of Credit (LC) negotiation and remittance. Monitor and manage documentation deadlines to avoid demurrage or detention charges. Maintain accurate databases and reporting of shipment transactions.
