Job Title: Senior Functional Consultant SAP EWM Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid/On-site) Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Functional Consultant SAP EWM with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP EWM solutions within complex supply chain environments. This role plays a critical part in enhancing warehouse and transportation management processes, ensuring seamless operations across the end-to-end supply chain. You will work cross-functionally with IT, logistics, and operations teams to drive efficiency and innovation using SAP EWM, while also contributing to system stability, scalability, and performance. Key Responsibilities SAP EWM Expertise & Implementation Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP EWM solutions to support business operations and warehousing processes. Provide expert guidance during implementation projects, upgrades , and ongoing system enhancements. Process Optimization Analyze and streamline warehouse, transportation, and supply chain workflows for improved performance, cost reduction , and automation. Recommend and implement industry best practices for warehouse and distribution center operations using SAP EWM. System Support & Application Management Deliver day-to-day functional support , troubleshoot system issues, and manage enhancements. Participate in out-of-office support rotations (approximately one week per month). Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with teams in logistics, warehouse operations, and IT to translate business requirements into SAP EWM configurations . Collaborate on system integrations including carrier management , transportation systems, and label printing solutions. Training & Documentation Develop and maintain detailed documentation for processes, configurations, and change management. Provide training and user support to ensure successful system adoption across teams. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in the supply chain and SAP ecosystem. Suggest innovations and upgrades to improve system performance and business agility . Preferred Experience & Skills Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, IT, Business, or a related discipline. Masters degree is a plus. 7+ years of experience as a SAP EWM Functional Consultant, including full-cycle implementations. Deep knowledge of SAP EWM configuration , warehouse processes, and supply chain execution. Exposure to carrier integration, EDI communications , and label printing is a strong advantage. Familiarity with SAP IDoc processing and basic ABAP Workbench is a plus. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. SAP EWM certification is advantageous.
