Counseling clients: Providing information on immigration laws and policies, and offering a fair evaluation of a client's profileSelling services: Promoting immigration products and services to clients over the phone, by email, and in personMeeting targets: Developing action plans and schedules to meet sales targetsFollowing up: Following up on leads and inquiries, and providing ongoing guidance and adviceBuilding relationships: Developing and maintaining strong client relationshipsProviding information: Providing clear information on programs offered and countries where visa and immigration services are availableProviding a career strategy: Creating a customized global career strategy for clientsImmigration sales consultants may also need to:Manage inbound and outbound leadsRespond to inquiries using pre-set templatesWork within strict timelinesCommunicate with authorities and clients consistentlyTailor the process to suit the clientHire translators if necessaryHave a strong understanding of border control procedures and related legislation
