Build & Release Engineer with Android experience

Job Title:

Notice period: immediate to 20days(only)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Release Manager to oversee timely delivery of software builds and releases.
  
• Build and deploy Android packages for production and test environments.
  
• Handle last-minute code changes and ensure quality and stability in builds.
  
• Report and resolve build infrastructure issues to make releases repeatable and reliable.
  
• Maintain source control management (Git), manage branching strategies and code integration.
  
• Support continuous integration and deployment workflows using relevant tools.
  
• Document release notes, build processes, and change logs for audit and traceability.
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years

  of experience in release engineering, configuration management, or software builds.

• Mandatory experience

  on

  Android platform

  builds and delivery cycles.
• Strong exposure to

  Unix/Linux systems

  and scripting (Bash, Python).
• At least

  2 years of experience supporting release pipelines

  including version control, CI/CD tools, and automation.
• Candidates with

  prior experience at Google

  will be given preference.
• Must be ready to

  work from Googles Hyderabad office daily

  .
