Job Description

You are a highly skilled and experienced IIOT Architect sought to join our team. Your expertise includes a deep understanding of Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) technologies, SCADA platforms like Ignition, and Industrial Data Operations tools such as HighByte and HiveMQ. A strong grasp of IT/OT convergence and IOT cloud concepts is essential for designing and implementing IIOT solutions to optimize industrial processes and drive digital transformation. Your responsibilities will involve developing and implementing IIOT architectures that integrate SCADA platforms with Industrial Data Operations tools. You will apply the Unified Namespace (UNS) concept to create a unified data model for seamless communication across various IIOT components. Driving IT/OT convergence, designing cloud-based IOT solutions, and implementing data management strategies for industrial applications will be key aspects of your role. Providing technical leadership, collaborating with stakeholders, and continuously improving architecture and processes are also crucial responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in IIOT architecture, focusing on SCADA platforms and Industrial Data Operations, experience in the Manufacturing Industry, particularly within the Life Sciences domain, is highly desirable. Proficiency with SCADA platforms like Ignition, experience with Industrial Data Operations tools such as HighByte and HiveMQ, a strong understanding of the Unified Namespace (UNS) concept, knowledge of IT/OT convergence principles, and familiarity with IOT cloud concepts and technologies are essential technical skills. Your analytical skills should enable you to analyze complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effectively conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven experience in leading technical teams, managing projects, and relevant certifications in IIOT, SCADA, or cloud technologies are valuable assets.
