IELTS & Spoken English Trainer (Freshers & Experienced)

Role Overview

You will teach IELTS modules (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) and Spoken English/Communication Skills to students preparing for overseas education. You’ll run weekly mock tests, give structured feedback, and manage student progress using the Renascence IELTS Portal.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classes for IELTS (all four modules) and Spoken/Business English.
• Plan lessons, activities, and practice drills aligned to exam patterns (IDP/BC).
• Conduct weekly mock tests, evaluate scripts, and provide band-wise feedback.
• Use the Renascence IELTS Portal to:
• Enroll students and assign modules/lessons
• Schedule and score mock tests
• Track analytics (band progression, accuracy, time management)
• Share personalized improvement plans & reports
• Run small-group doubt-clearing and 1:1 speaking feedback sessions.
• Maintain batch discipline, attendance, and learning outcomes.
• Coordinate with counselling/ops teams for student progress and retest plans.
• Contribute content: question banks, vocab lists, writing samples, and micro-quizzes.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Any graduate; strong command of English (spoken & written).
• Clear communication and classroom management skills; confident public speaking.
• Comfort with basic tech tools (Google Workspace/Docs/Sheets/Slides) and LMS usage.
• Willingness to learn and actively use the Renascence IELTS Portal (training provided).

Good to Have (Preferred)

• Prior IELTS/ESL training experience OR excellent academic English background.
• Personal IELTS score 7.5+ overall (with 7+ in each band) preferred.
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or British Council/IDP-aligned certifications.
• Experience as a Communication Skills/Soft-Skills Trainer (interviews, email etiquette, presentations).

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Average student band improvement: ≥ +1.0 within 8–10 weeks (batch-dependent).
• Mock test completion rate & on-time feedback (≤ 48 hours turnaround).
• Speaking evaluation quality (rubric-based, action-oriented tips).
• Student satisfaction/NPS ≥ 8/10; attendance and retention targets met.

Schedule & Compensation

• Weekday & Saturday slots; morning/evening batches as per demand.
