The Power Division focuses on power generating facilities which offer a wide range of design and project execution experiences. Designs include the electrical interconnect to the bulk power grid and all associated power generating facility auxiliary power equipment. Conduct advanced power system studies (steady-state load flow, short-circuit, and dynamic stability analyses) for generation grid connection projects and transmission planning studies (feasibility and design stages). Projects will be primarily across Asia-Pacific, but also in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia. Perform detailed power system modeling and simulations for grid integration of converter-based resources, including high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems, renewable energy plants (solar and wind), and battery energy storage systems.
