We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Journalist / Producer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing and scriptwriting video content for our defense channel. This position requires strong storytelling skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of journalism, video production, and scriptwriting - showing a strong understanding of the defense and military space. Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth research to identify newsworthy stories and topics for video content. Develop, write, and produce high-quality scripts for short and mid-form video A good understanding of video audience generation, analytics and development strategies Contribute to defense content writing on the website Collaborate with other journalists, producers, and team members to brainstorm and execute creative ideas. Stay updated on current events and trends in the media landscape to inform content creation. Ensure accuracy and integrity of all published content, adhering to journalistic standards. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Upload and maintain organized records of all video footage and content produced. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Production, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in video journalism or a similar role. Strong storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail and visual composition. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in defense journalism is a plus Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively under pressure. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content strategies. We’re seeking a customer-centric marketer with a proven track record in subscription growth, email marketing, and audience engagement, ideally within the B2B or publishing sector. This role is key to driving data-informed growth through targeted campaigns, strong content strategy, and sharp customer insights. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute targeted marketing campaigns to grow subscriptions and deepen audience engagement across email, web, and social channels. Develop and optimize customer journeys using behavioural insights and analytics to drive retention and acquisition. Own the end-to-end email marketing function: strategy, segmentation, content, performance tracking, and continuous testing. Partner with the UX, Software, and Editorial teams to align marketing efforts with product experience and editorial strategy. Craft compelling, on-brand copy and creative for campaigns tailored to distinct audience segments. Design and oversee subscription marketing funnels and nurture programs for audience development. Leverage analytics tools to monitor marketing performance, translate insights into actions, and report ROI to stakeholders. Collaborate on broader content marketing strategies across video and social channels, with particular focus on YouTube, Snapchat, and Facebook. Stay current with trends in digital marketing, publishing, and content consumption to inform strategy. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on email marketing, subscriptions, and B2B or publishing. Demonstrated experience in customer segmentation, journey mapping, and lifecycle marketing. Strong analytical mindset with experience using digital analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, marketing automation tools). Excellent copywriting skills and creative campaign development experience. Familiarity with SEO and SEM strategies is a plus, though not the primary focus of this role. Comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives and aligning stakeholders across departments. High level of organization, adaptability, and strategic thinking.
