Join EY and contribute to the creation of a better working world. As an EY Trade Connect Staff member, you will be part of the GDS Indirect Tax Global Trade Technology team. The team's mission is to design, implement, and integrate technology solutions for Global Trade that enhance the experience for our clients and engagement teams. In this role, you will gain knowledge in Global Trade, refine your database and programming skills, and work on developing and maintaining innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include participating in requirements analysis, using established development tools such as .NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#, collaborating with internal teams on software design, writing clean and scalable code, debugging code, and providing technical support as an expert on applications. To excel in this role, you should possess awareness of new technologies, strong written and verbal communication skills in English, the ability to work effectively in a team, and the flexibility to switch between individual and team roles seamlessly. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with a preference for a Master's degree. Additionally, 0-1 years of experience in .NET technology, good communication, analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills are required. Knowledge of .NET technology, MS SQL server, and Javascript/jQuery will be advantageous. The role may require working in rotational shifts, including night shifts, to support customers. Ideal candidates will be proactive, curious about technology trends, and demonstrate passion and perseverance in acquiring new knowledge and skills. They should be adept at generating efficient solutions to problems and seizing opportunities for growth.
